6 months agoIrish health insurer announces third price rise in move to cost families up to 600 extra
Irish Life Health is implementing a 4.8% increase in premium rates starting in January, following previous similar-sized increases in July and March.
Certain plans will become 20% more expensive for those renewing, with the popular 4 D Health 2 plan adding an additional â¬600 to the cost for a family of two adults and two children.
The price changes are being made due to an increase in the volume and size of claims, primarily through the private hospital network. [ more ]
